Jonathan Zenios
Jonathan works with business owners and senior executives on improving effectiveness in decision-making, problem-solving and organisational intelligence (aka office politics). Clients have found working with Jonathan has enabled them to clarify their thinking, reframe their perspective and become more tactical in their behaviour, or to quote Radiohead to become ‘fitter, happier, more productive.’
Before joining Pelham Street, Jonathan ran his own fund management business for 8 years following a 16-year career in investment banking in London and New York, having originally qualified as a chartered accountant. Jonathan also chaired a fin tech business from its first institutional capital raise to its sale to ICAP four years later in 2016. Jonathan is Chair of Jewish Care, the largest Jewish communal charity in Europe.
Jonathan recently completed an MPhil in Early Modern History for which he wrote his dissertation on the first two months of James VI and I’s English reign, reflecting his interest in leadership and power in transition.
Jonathan has been a fervent advocate of the power of coaching since first getting a coach himself in 2001 shortly after being promoted to Managing Director at Barclays Capital. Being coached changed his career trajectory by giving him space to think; enabling him to build techniques to handle people and to navigate his organisation; and allowing him to manage his priorities and to adjust his behaviour.
